Merwin Richard, M.D.
Dr. Richard has been practicing medicine for over 20 years. He began his training in India at Stanley Medical College, and then continued his education here in New York City completing his Internal Medicine training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Later he became a Cardiology fellow at Columbia University College of Physicians/Surgeons and continued on to become an Interventional Cardiology Fellow at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. After his education he was involved in numerous research projects and was a professor at UMDNJ School of Medicine in New Jersey. He then became the director of the first cardiac catheterization and interventional laboratory in Jersey City NJ. He has four board certifications including internal medicine, cardiology, interventional cardiology, and nuclear cardiology He is one of the first cardiologist in Hudson county to have extensive training in varicose vein treatment. He has trained with leaders in the field of laser treatment, phlebotomy and spider vein treatment. He has been a leader in the field of vein and vascular therapy for over 10 years. Currently he is in private practice owning and operating both Advanced Garden State Cardiology and Advanced Vein and Vascular.
Mary Hannah Farish-Williford, PA-C
Graduating cum laude from Berry College with a Biology Major and Minor in Chemistry, Mary Hannah Farish-Williford has been an active scholar in her career and has since furthered her education by completing a Physicians Assistant Program and MPAS at Elon University, along with courses in Spanish for Medical Professionals. Hannah’s experience in a multitude of clinical rotations including cardiology, emergency, general surgery primary care and inpatient medicine has made her an asset to the team, where she has showcased a strong leadership background, passion to provide quality patient care and drive to improve clinical skills each day.
Keith W. Roberts, PA-C
Graduating cum laude from Mars Hill University with a BS in Biology and as a Bonner Scholar, completing 280 hours of community service per academic year, Keith W. Roberts has shown a strong commitment to his education and patient care throughout his career. After graduation Keith went on to further his academic background completing the Physicians Assistant Program and MMS at Methodist University, while gaining experience in clinical rotations with some of North Carolina’s most prestigious facilities including the Womack Army Medical Center and Edgewater Medical Center, along with a position as a Clinical Support Technician for UNC Healthcare Chapel Hill. When Keith joined the team at Advanced Garden State Cardiology, he brought with him an extensive resume, education and passion for quality patient care and volunteer work.
James M. Maginnis, PA-C
Graduating magna cum laude from The University of Scranton with a Masters of Science in Biology and Minor in Theology, James brings to the team an extensive education with a Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Kings College and clinical experience in pediatrics, cardiology, general surgery, emergency medicine and a PA position in orthopedic surgery. As a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the New Jersey State Society of Physician Assistants, James continues to develop his career and focus on improving his clinical skills while providing quality patient care.
